How to prevent warts spread?
Do not touch the wart and cover it with water-proof plaster before going for swimming. Do not share towels or shoes. Do not go barefoot to swimming pools or changing rooms.
How to treat warts?
Generally, most of the warts go away on their own in weeks or months and do not need any treatment. Others may be bothersome and may need treatment. Salicylic acid solution and cryotherapy (freeze to deaden the area), electrocautery or thermal cautery (burning of warts with low-voltage electrified probe) is implied to remove viral warts.
