Subclinical hypothyroidism (TSH 5 to 10 mIU/L) or Overt HypoT should be corrected before contemplating pregnancy.
Subclinical HypoT :Thyroxin dose needs to be adjusted in early pregnancy, it may me little more. No published report at present related to pregnancy outcome or neurodevelopmental outcome of offspring.
Overt HyoT: if found in early or mid pregnancy, should be corrected at the earliest. Because may affect pregnancy outcome or offsprings IQ.
