Is Candida Cleanse Good For Ulcerative Colitis?
Hi there. I recently got asked by a patient in Europe about ulcerative colitis, if the candida cleanse was good for ulcerative colitis. So, let me just talk about that in this video. I think the candida cleanse is excellent idea for somebody who has ulcerative colitis. Just like it is for somebody with irritable bowel syndrome. Okay?
UC, ulcerative colitis, is inflammatory bowel disease. I've done several videos on ulcerative colitis, if you look on this channel.
There should be a few of them. Ulcerative colitis is a little bit different from Crohn's disease in that Crohn's is more insidious. It's more damaging. It effects the gut mucosa deeper and it's a more nasty disease to have, than ulcerative colitis.
It's like people you meet in your life. You know, you'll meet some people that are really nice. You'll meet some people that are not so nice and you'll meet some bad people. Then you'll meet this really bad person occasionally.
That's Crohn's disease, is that really bad guy, that nasty guy. The guy that you don't want to have anywhere around the place.
So, ulcerative colitis is definitely a controllable condition. I've worked with several hundred UC patients over the years and only ever had really good outcomes with in most cases all of them. So, colitis responds well to the candida cleanse because of the diet change.
We're taking all the crap out the diet. We're cleaning the diet right up. We're going to clean up the microbial component of the gut, which is very important with colitis.
Many people with colitis are taking various kinds of medications. They could be methotrexate. It could be salipyrine. There are various drug that their given, they're recommended. Some take these drugs, some don't take them.
But I know one thing, colitis patients in most cases when they stool test them, have a very messed up gut that needs rebalancing.
Often we find candida there. Often we find a parasite there. We find some problem that needs rectifying. Often we find inflammation there which we can calm down.
So, the smartest thing you can do if you have colitis is to get a comprehensive stool analysis done. Not by your GP, but by your functional medicine doctor.
Three tests on three separate days to determine exactly what's going on with the gut. Once you've determined that, the candida cleanse can be tailored to suit your particularly type of UC.
All right? You can get a great outcome with colitis by testing, analyzing and testing, and then treating and then fine tuning the program to suit yourself.
A good functional medicine doctor, he or she can help you to get an incredibly good result with colitis. In my opinion, far superior than your gastroenterologist ever will do.
Because you're going to be living with this bowel for hopefully another 20, 30, 40, 50 years. It's your bowel. It's your decision. It's you life. All right?
If you want to get a nice outcome with colitis, think about a natural treatment approach and especially assessment and correct treatment of candida when appropriate.
That's going to give you the best possible outcome. That's based on a lot of experience as I mentioned. I've seen a lot of people with colitis.
Thanks for tuning in.
